Call for Presentations

The Emerson Users Exchange Board of Directors is pleased to invite You to submit Your presentation for next year’s conference, in Milan

Share Your best practices, implementation successes, tips, and proven project solutions by presenting at the 2020 conference! A waiver of registration fee will be granted for ONE user presenter, for each accepted presentation.

A waiver of registration fee will be granted for ONE user presenter, for each accepted presentation.

Presentation summaries are due by July 5th, 2019. List of approved summaries will be published end of October 2019. One free place will be granted for one presenter for each accepted presentation summary.

When submitting your presentation(s), please note the following guidelines:

A Presentation typically features a case history, either project experience, and/or specific tips or techniques used (or learned) during a project implementation – for example: “how I used one or more Emerson products/services or a complementary vendor’s product/service to solve a problem or improve my process”.

It is highly recommended that you prepare and save the summary information in a private document before you actually enter it into the online submission application. The submission application will store all your information after you enter the session details and Continue. The process will be completed once you add the presenters. You can edit your submission or submit another summary by returning to the submission home page. The page can be accessed by logging into your account or following the link from your submission confirmation e-mail. 

Here is a list of required information per presentation summary

  1. Session Title
  2. Presentation summary – maximum 800 characters (including spaces) – outline of the Presentation
  3. Problems/Challenges solved – maximum 600 characters (including spaces)
  4. Solution – maximum 600 characters (including spaces)
  5. Results/Benefits realized – maximum 600 characters (including spaces)
  6. Track (see below for tracks)
  7. The Industry your abstract applies to
  8. Presenter / Co-Presenter (name, email address, country and company required)

A formal written (prose) paper is not required. If you wish to submit one we will include it in the conference material but it is not a requirement. All sessions in the conference will be in English.
