March 2008 The Call for Papers for the 2008 Emerson Exchange conference is now closed. Thanks to all of you who contributed to the more than 475 abstracts that were submitted before the March 17th deadline. You have challenged the Presentations Committee with a formidable review and selection task. Your willingness to share your high quality ideas and experiences ensure that the technical and management content for the 2008 conference will be second to none. The Presentations Committee is already hard at work reviewing the abstracts and will advise presenters of their decision in the very near future. They will also post updated conference content to the website as soon as it is available, enabling attendees to review the Workshops, Short Courses and other sessions planned for the event. I encourage you to go ahead and begin making your plans to attend the Exchange at the Gaylord National, just south of Washington, D.C., September 29 – October 3, 2008. This brand new facility is nearly complete, and will officially open for business in April. If you haven’t already done so, please take the time now to mark the Exchange dates on your calendar, and join me and your colleagues at the 2008 Emerson Exchange - Where ideas become solutions!
