Steve Elwart has worked in the oil industry for over 30 years, 20 of those years has been with Ergon. Steve chairs Ergon's Manufacturing Automation Committee and is a member of the Corporate IT Steering Committee. He is also a current member & past Chairman of the NPRA Automation Committee and has recently been appointed Chairman of the newly formed NPRA Cyber-Security Committee. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the 3 states and is a MCSE.

Elwart is working with the Department of Homeland Security to improve Cyber-security on control systems. He is also a frequent lecturer on refining, the role of process control in the industry, & leadership techniques.
