The Chairman's Message

Everyone’s been working hard to get everything ready for this year’s Emerson Global Users Exchange.  We believe that this will be the best technical conference yet.  As of last count, over 1,000 people have registered to attend the Emerson Exchange.  This includes end-users, Local Business Partners, Emerson Process Management personnel, folks from the various Emerson Alliance partners and many others.

We’ve packed the four and a half days of the Emerson Exchange with hours of papers and presentations, expanded short courses, exhibits, social activities and opportunities for networking.  And remember, this year we’ve changed our name and expanded our organization to include all of Emerson Process Management’s divisions, including Process Systems, Process Solutions, Micro Motion, Rosemount, Power & Water Solutions, Asset Optimization, Brooks Instrument, Daniel, Fisher, Flow Computers Division, Valve Automation and more.  In the exhibit hall, you will have a unique opportunity to see all of the Emerson Process Management products in one place.  In addition, they’ll all be connected to a single Delta-V system as, I believe, one of the broadest demonstrations of PlantWeb technology implemented for demonstration in one place.

So, it’s not too late!  If you haven’t already registered, you still can.  I look forward to seeing you at this year’s Emerson Global Users Exchange, September 29 through October 3, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, TN.
