The Chairman's Message
March, 2005
The Call for Papers for the 2005 Emerson Exchange conference is now closed. I would like to thank everyone for the tremendous response, as there were over 350 abstracts submitted. The technical and management content for this year's conference will again be outstanding.
The Papers & Presentations committee will begin reviewing the abstracts for acceptance in April and will advise presenters accordingly. They will also post updated conference content to this website in a timely manner, enabling attendees to peruse the Workshops and other sessions planned for the conference.
There will be some changes coming for the Emerson Global Users Exchange over the next several months. To begin with, look for a redesigned logo, which better reflects our focus on Users and the Global scope of our organization. We are also in the process of redesigning the web site. There should be a new look and feel prior to online registration, which should also be easier to use.
Your Board of Directors has been hard at work to increase the value of membership in the Emerson Global Users Exchange. We hope to roll out some new benefits of membership at this year's conference in Orlando.
