What is the 2012 Emerson Global Users Exchange Americas Conference?
The Emerson Global Users Exchange Conference was developed to provide end users with a valuable exchange of information among process manufacturers, end-users and Emerson experts.  The unique opportunity offers peers the ability to network, view and offer input about developing Emerson technologies and to take away new knowledge, ideas and techniques to help maximize assets and increase profitability. 

The Conference includes:

The following meals/receptions are also included: 

  • Breakfast – Monday through Friday

FULL CONFERENCE - Access to all conference workshops, courses and exhibitions, certified training, meals, exhibition reception, and networking events.
Early Bird Registration June 1 - August 14 $995
Advanced Registration August 15 - September 24 $1,195
Regular Registration September 25 - October 12 $1,395
DAILY PASSES - Access to exhibit hall, workshops, courses, certified training sessions and meals for the amount of days specified in the package.
One Day Registration $450

Guest Registration - For guests of registered conference attendees; includes meals and social event only. $150

Is the Thursday Networking Event at Disneyland included in the registration price?
Yes, your ticket and wristband to the Thursday Networking Event is included in your full conference registration pass price. If you purchased a day pass (one, two, or three day) and selected Thursday as one of your days, then you are invited to attend the Thursday night event at Disneyland. Can I purchase a ticket to the Thursday Networking Event for my spouse and family?
We unfortunately are not selling individual tickets to the Thursday Disneyland event. Guests need to be registered with Emerson Exchange ($150 Guest Pass) in order to attend the event. Learn more at the Networking Event page.

I just found out I can't attend. Can I get a refund?
The Emerson Global Users Exchange, at the direction of its User-driven board of directors, is unable to grant refunds after the September 7th cancellation deadline, due to expenditure guarantees made to suppliers and the host hotel. For your reference, a copy of the conference cancellation policy, as issued with registration confirmations and published on our website, is shown below:

Notice of cancellation must be sent in writing, via confirmed email to the Emerson Exchange Manager, Andi Davison at Andi.Davison@Emerson.com All paid-in-fees/monies will be refunded for cancellations received on or before September 7th, 2012. After this date no refunds can be made.

Same company personnel substitutions may be made at any time. Please contact Andi Davison at Andi.Davison@Emerson.com to transfer a registration and provide the full name, email and company of the new registrant. Hotel room cancellations must be handled directly with the hotel.

Where do I pick up my conference badge?
Registration / Badge Pickup will be located on the 2nd floor of the Hilton Anaheim Hotel. Check in at a Cyber Café computer, and then proceed to the Badge Pickup Window indicated on the computer screen to get your badge and conference bag. Each attendee must pickup his/her own badge and provide a valid photo ID. (Note: A valid photo ID is required to pick up your conference badge.) Badges must be worn at all conference related activities and meals, including evening and guest events. Please do not lend your badge to anyone.

***Please note the busiest registration day for Emerson Exchange is Sunday and Monday morning. Due to a variety of reasons, you may encounter a wait (up to 15 minutes) if picking up on our peak day, please plan accordingly.

What are the parking fees at the Hilton Anaheim?

Parking at Hilton Anaheim is $15 per day for overnight self-parking and $19 per day for overnight valet parking. Rates include in/out privileges for overnight guests.

Is Transportation available from the airport?
The Hilton Anaheim does not provide shuttle service to and from the airport. There are taxis available outside the airport baggage claim or you can make a reservation with Super Shuttle and recieve 10% off as a Emerson Exchange attendee.

What is the expected attendance?
The 2012 Emerson Global Users Exchange Conference in Anaheim is expected to exceed 2700 attendees.

What is the conference attire?
Casual and Business dress are both appropriate.

Where can I find the Conference Session descriptions?
Session descriptions will be available under the Conference Program - Agenda at a Glance tab on this website.

Will presentations be available after the conference?
Presentations will be available on a USB flash drive that will be distributed at conference check-in with you pickup your badge and bag.

Are meals included in the cost of registration?
Conference attendees and their registered guests receive all breakfast and lunch meals, as well as beverages and appetizers at the Technology Exhibit receptions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

How many Professional Development hours can I get for attending the conference?
Each of the Educational Services short courses offered at the Emerson Exchange receive .4 CEU's.
