An Online Session Agenda and Scheduling Planning Tool

Create personalized conference agenda online, and print for use during the conference.

Dynamic scheduler – as changes are made to the master schedule of events, your personal agenda will be modified accordingly.

Download your personalized schedule to your PDA, smartphone or other calendar application,
by following simple online instructions.
Click on the PERSONAL SCHEDULER button to log into a webpage containing all the sessions available for the conference. The scheduler is intuitive and easy to use - play around and decide the best schedule for your needs.

NOTE: Registered conference attendees MUST use the Personal Scheduler in
order to reserve a seat and attend any of the Educational Services Course offerings. Seating is limited so schedule
early.
INSTRUCTIONS

Login using the same user name and password you used to register for the
conference. (Note: If you do not have a user name and password, you will need to
register first.)

Click on "Personal Scheduler" button
- Click on the "Session Catalog" on left side of page

Click on "Add to My Interests" beside any sessions you are interested in
attending. There are several ways you can view the sessions - choose from the
list of tabs shown:
- "All"--To view all sessions
- "Type"--To view all sessions by type (i.e. Workshop, Short Course,
Educational Services Course)
- "Technical Level"--To view introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses
- "Day"--To view scheduled courses by day and time
- "My Interests"--To view any courses you have selected under "Add to My
Interests"

There are two ways to populate your schedule:
A. Click "Auto Scheduler" to add the sessions you have selected for your "My
Interests" list.
B. Click on the left navigation pane of the page on "My Schedule". This will
show your schedule spreadsheet for the whole week of the conference. You can
block out any personal time by clicking on the "Schedule Links" at the top of
the page. To fill out your schedule you will simply click on the "Add Session"
listed on the time and day in your spreadsheet you wish to attend a session. A
listing of which sessions are available will come up and you can select from the
list. (NOTE: Clicking on the Session ID will bring up a listing of all the
available times that the session will be offered.) Then click "Add to Schedule"
to populate your personal schedule.
EDUCATIONAL SERVICES COURSES
The Educational Services Courses have limited
seating, and require pre-registration in order to reserve an available seat and
equipment. User attendees may register for a maximum of two Educational Services
courses. (Emerson attendees please hold back from registering
for these courses, we would like to leave them open for users only) To
pre-register for these courses, navigate to the course in the agenda that you
wish to enroll, and add it into your schedule under "My Schedule". The scheduler
then adds you to the course register, and automatically makes seating
availability adjustments. (The scheduler will advise you if seating for a course
is full.) While we have attempted to size the rooms to meet the anticipated
attendance and demand for all sessions, there may be sessions where attendance
exceeds the maximum seating. Should attendance exceed maximum room occupancy, as
regulated by fire code, the Room Facilitator will try to accommodate Users first
and Emerson attendees second.
For your and others' safety, please
observe any instructions issued to ensure safe room occupancy.
Laptop PCs and printers will be available in the Cyber Café to revise and print
your personal schedules. Each attendee will receive a "Pocket
Guide" listing all sessions in the personal scheduler. |
