San Antonio International Airport is located in Northern San Antonio, approximately eight miles or 15 minutes from the downtown area. Loop 410 and U.S. 281 are the two highways providing access to the main entry points
Transportation
Shuttle Transportation to and from San Antonio International Airport (SAT) and downtown (8 miles) is provided for a fee by SATRANS, the city's official airport shuttle, between 7 a.m. and 1 a.m. daily.
Fee: $18 USD (one way); $32 USD (round trip).

Car Rental: There
are several companies to choose from when renting a car at San
Antonio International Airport. Please contact the company of
your choice for more information. Passengers can use the courtesy
phones provided in the baggage claim area to request shuttle

to the shuttle pick up area located outside the baggage claim area.
