Where ideas become solutions has been selected for the theme of the 2008 Emerson Global Users Exchange conference, being held September 29th – October 3rd at the new Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center just outside Washington, DC.  With this Call for Presentations, we invite you to share your ideas and solutions with your fellow process manufacturing professionals from around the world.

Attendees confirm that the single largest success factor of the Emerson Global Users Exchange conference is the wealth of solutions, knowledge, and experience shared by users and industry experts in Workshop and Short Course presentations.  The 2007 conference provided attendees with over 225 Workshops, 15 CEU-certified Short Courses, 9 Industry Business Forums, as well as Management sessions with industry professionals and expert panelists.  For 2008, we want to build on the success of last year’s conference and provide attendees with effective and valuable content to improve both their skills and their businesses.

We invite you to share your best practices, implementation successes, tips & tricks, and proven project solutions by presenting at this year's conference.  To submit a presentation abstract for the 2008 Emerson Exchange conference, please click here.

Track topics for the 2008 conference are listed below, along with example presentation subjects.  A listing of abstract acceptance criteria (tips & tricks) is also provided on this website to help guide presenters with development of your abstracts.

Abstracts of proposed presentations are due by Monday, March 17, 2008. The organization will notify presenters of acceptance beginning April 1, 2008.  As an incentive, a waiver of registration fees will be granted for one person for each accepted Workshop and two persons for each accepted Short Course for presenters who submit their final PowerPoint presentation by June 30, 2008. The most outstanding presentation for each track will be awarded Best of Conference, with a formal presentation of the award at the conference..
