The Chairman's Message
January 2010
The 2010 Emerson Global Users Exchange content planning for this year’s conference is underway!
The Call for Presentations has been released and abstract submittals will be accepted through March 15, 2010. We expect to receive many new and unique submissions this year and the Presentations committee will have its hands full evaluating abstracts for acceptance. This year’s presentation tracks cover a broad range of topics including many areas across automation and instrumentation systems and applications. Note that a new presentations track of “Management” has been added this year. Also, the topic of business intelligence has been included via the now expanded “Business Operations, Integration, & Intelligence” track.
This year’s theme of “Build on Your Knowledge…” is exactly what we desire the conference attendees to accomplish while attending and participating in the numerous offerings at this year’s conference. All of this is based on the strength of the content……the content submitted by you. We expect a high number of high quality abstract submissions this year so I encourage you to develop your abstract content with this year’s theme in mind……….we want everyone to Build on Your existing Knowledge.
Presentations at this conference offer an opportunity for the users to showcase their work and gain recognition from the conference attendees as well as their fellow professionals. So, by all means, take advantage of this opportunity!
We invite you to share your Knowledge with your fellow professionals at this year’s conference!
Mark your calendars as this year’s conference will be held:
September 27 - October 1, 2010
Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center in San Antonio, TX
As always, we value your ideas, comments and participation. Please feel free to contact me or any member of the Board, if you have questions or feedback on the Emerson Global Users Exchange.
